A Merry Christmas and Happy New Year from Bonsai Alchemist
Well, 2022 is almost here, and Christmas is upon us. It’s been a spectacular year, and the site has grown tremendously since we started in June. We’ve also had an overwhelming response from many of you on social media, and we really appreciate how you’ve stayed with us all these months.
A Look Back at 2021
Since we opened our site in June a few months ago, our writing team has been hard at work producing content. Not only did we establish our main pages and sections, but we covered several species that are ideal for beginners. Here are the tops ones enjoyed by our readers:
- Juniper bonsai
- Money Tree bonsai
- Chinese Elm bonsai
- Italian Cypress bonsai
- Japanese Yew bonsai
- Ficus bonsai
- Syzygium bonsai
- Bougainvillea bonsai
- Azalea bonsai
We also had a series that dealt with office executives and workplaces with bonsais, as well as a dedicated article on different types of bonsais and how to care for them. We’ve also had several of the related posts performing well, as many of you have been asking questions about them. Here are the top 10 bonsai articles you have read the most on our site from highest-ranking to lowest:
- How to Thicken a Money Tree Bonsai Trunk
- Bonsai Tree Symbolism and Meaning
- Juniper Bonsai Meaning and Symbolism
- Coral Tree Bonsai | Bonsai Alchemist Species Care Guide
- Chinese Juniper Bonsai | Juniperus Chinensis Care Sheet
- How To Care For Your Bougainvillea In Winter
- Garden Juniper Bonsai | Juniperus Procumbens Nana
- Spruce Tree Bonsai | Picea – Exciting #1 Care Guide!
- Pomegranate Bonsai | Punica Granatum
- How to Grow a Juniper Bonsai Indoors
It’s really been such a pleasure delivering these articles to you, knowing how much you value them!
Bonsai Alchemist 2022 Preview
Of course, we plan on delivering much more content in the year to come. We already have some plans, some of which we aren’t ready to share just yet. What we can tell you is that we’ll be covering more bonsai species so that none are absent, we’re looking into how we can engage more with you, perhaps with a forum, and expect more interaction on our social media platforms.
We’re also getting ready to start making video guides to show you how to care for your bonsais. We know this type of media is popular, as it’s easier to see how to perform tasks with images instead of text. Our team is getting excited to take on this new approach.
Check Out Our Brand New Bonsai Map!
One of our greatest achievements is the new bonsai map produced by our amazing web designer, Irakli. We decided not to resort to the standard Google Map you can find on any other bonsai site. He worked hard these last few months hunting down locations and placing them on the map. We’ve covered a few countries for now, but you can be sure there will be more coming! So if you still need to buy a bonsai gift for someone, make sure to check the map.
May You All Have a Wonderful Festive Season!
We want to thank everyone again for the amazing support. Please be careful this festive season, as it’s always a dangerous time of the year when traveling. May you have a blessed Christmas and a fantastic New Year!
